Output 5 - Evaluation study of the effects plants have on the room climate, as well as wellbeing, productivity in learning, and social interactions - policy recommendations

What we learn from the plants and interview teachers.
Building on the experiment (see IO2, IO3, IO4 and IO6), a mixed methods approach is used for the evaluation study. With the help of questionnaires, which are distributed to the pupils, a “before and after” comparison is made (quantitative method). Furthermore, interviews are conducted with the supervisors and class teachers (qualitative method). The purpose of this evaluation study is to investigate the effects of plants on the physical, psychological and cognitive aspects of the test subjects in the “classroom”.
